KIS Community

The mission of the Parent Teacher Organization is to:

• Help families adjust to life in Kyiv by providing information about the school and living in the city.
• Organize events throughout the year to build a stronger sense of community.
• Provide a communication link between parents, teachers and staff.

Back to School Picnic
Kick off the start of a new school year during the annual Back to School Picnic.  Food, music, games and activities.

Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is the school's annual celebration of Fall in Ukraine.  Activities include costume parades, games and activities, food, and the popular Trunk or Treat program. 

International Night
The largest event of the school year is the annual International Night celebration.  Members of the KIS community come together to recognize our diverse and dynamic campus community with food, drink, music, dance and activities.

Winter Celebration
This week long event happens with week before Winter Break and highlights the various winter celebrations and customs of our campus community.

Bingo Night
Highly competitive and highly fun, this PTO sponsored event features food, drink and lots of B9 humor. 

Art Festival
The KIS Art Festival is a week long event that spotlights the artistic creativity and talent of our campus community. 

End of Year Picnic
The End of Year Picnic is one last chance for our campus community to come together to celebrate another wonderful school year.  The event includes a food and refreshments, games and activities, music and programs.

KIS Cares is the school's community giving arm and includes both academic service learning programs and fundraising by the PTO and other campus groups.
