Kozak Korner #10. October 17th, 2025

| Director's Message

Dear Parents,

The Marathon today is the 3rd sporting event this week! Many thanks to Ms. Zoromski in particular for her superb organising and planning. On Tuesday KIS hosted a football tournament with teams from local schools. Our players demonstrated sportsmanship and played very well. They were placed 3rd. Then on Wednesday, KIS hosted a cross-country run again with teams from other schools who were invited to run the course. Endurance and pacing were clearly evident. Both teams practise regularly after school with their dedicated teachers helping to prepare them for events such as this and also for upcoming CEESA trips.

I am sure everyone is looking forward to the week long break Fall break, coming up next week.

Both StuCo and the Fall Festival team have been hard at work preparing for the week after the break when Spirit Week will take place culminating in the Fall Festival on Friday.

The next Kozak Korner will be published on Friday 31st October.

Kind regards and stay safe.

| Trunk Or Treat At The Fall Fest

Dear Parents,

We’d love to invite our amazing KIS community to participate in Trunk-or-Treat at our annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 31st! This fun tradition is always a highlight of the festival, and we would greatly appreciate your involvement.

There are two ways how to participate:

  • One: Bring a bunch of candy, toys, or other fun treats to hand out to the children who visit the trunk.
  • Two: Decorate Your Car. Get creative and decorate your car’s trunk with a fun or spooky theme. You can use decorations like lights, props, and fall-themed items to create a festive atmosphere. Make sure it's family-friendly and exciting for kids! If you would like to participate and decorate your car trunk, please sign up through this FORM

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to celebrating together!
