Kozak Korner #14. November 24th, 2023

| Director's Message

Dear Families,

Our faculty has spent the last two days collaborating, creating and communicating – we are committed to providing a caring, inspiring and challenging education. Working with our colleagues to grow as professionals is an important time for us and it was well spent!

One of our focuses during our Professional Developments Days was the new Empower Program Curriculum. This curriculum created by Quality Schools International, for our students, is designed to teach:

Success Orientations, along with related social-emotional skills, and child protection strategies at developmentally appropriate age levels. The chief aim of this curriculum is vital for preparing students to live successfully and safely in and out of the school environment.

We will be sharing more information about this program with families in the coming weeks.

A reminder that portrait photos will be taken on Monday and Tuesday of next week!

And the Coffee Chat for Elementary Parents will be on Thursday in the Auditorium.

Best regards,
Rachel Geary

Warm clothes: As the chill of winter settles in, a friendly reminder to ensure that students are bundled up for outdoor play during recess:

  1. Warm Clothes: Layer up! A snug jacket or coat, along with sweaters and long-sleeved shirts, will help keep the cold at bay.

  2. Mittens or Gloves: Little hands need extra care. Don't forget to send your child with mittens or gloves to keep those fingers toasty.

  3. Snow Pants: For the ultimate outdoor fun, snow pants are a must. Let your child dive into the winter wonderland without a worry.

We believe in the magic of outdoor play, and with your help, we can ensure every child enjoys the season to its fullest.
