Dear Kozak Community,
I am delighted to see the trees start to bud, the flowers emerge from the soil and the sunshine warming the earth. Our students are enjoying outside time on the fields and in the playground. Happy Spring! 🌷
A huge thank you to our wonderful PTO for the Bingo Night! It was a fun event, with wonderful food provided by Sunnyside and sponsored by the PTO.
Reenrollment for the 2024-25 school year will start on April 1st. You will get an email from Open Apply and you simply need to click a button to confirm your reenrollment.

| School Year 2024 - 2025
Dear Families,
We are making plans for the 2024-25 school year; we expect our school to continue to grow both in size and diversity. We will honor our commitment to offer significantly reduced fees from our pre-war tuition to help provide education to as many families as possible. However, our 2024-25 fees have increased slightly. If the fee increase is a challenge to your family’s finances, please apply for a scholarship. We are committed to helping our community. Please see the new school fees and school calendar for the 2024-25 school year. The re-enrolment process will begin in April; it is a very easy process through Open Apply – you will receive an email.
If you have questions or concerns, please do reach out: rachel-geary@kyiv.qsi.org

The Empower curriculum integrates the Success Orientations, Social Emotional Learning concepts, and Child Protection principles into individual lessons throughout the year. These lessons will be delivered during a dedicated weekly EMPOWER class time. This approach aims to equip students with a comprehensive set of skills applicable throughout their lives. Specific lessons tailored to each grade level ensure developmental appropriateness. While some concepts may be revisited annually, the lessons will vary based on the students' age. For more information, please see the QSI Empower statement.
Teachers will keep parents informed about the upcoming lessons for their child, and for certain grades, the lesson plans will be accessible in this newsletter. Click on the post below to view the message from the teacher.
