| PTO & Community Engagement

Dear KIS Community,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous participation in both the most recent bake sale and all the previous ones. This wonderful tradition of sharing our favorite homemade recipes is truly meaningful and heartwarming.

We plan to continue it in the next academic year as well.

All proceeds, as in previous years, will go toward organizing school events such as Welcome Back Picnic, Open House, Winter Fest, Wine & Cheese, Teachers’ Appreciation Day, Easter Week, Photo Zones for Talent Show and other events, Halloween, etc. However, in the 2026–2027 school year, we plan to allocate 20 percent to the CEESA program to provide additional support to our incredible students and amazing teachers.

Their ability to participate in competitions and represent our school with dignity despite incredibly exhausting journeys is truly admirable.

Our main objective is to enhance and enrich our children’s school experience. All our actions are always directed toward one goal — benefiting our kids.

We look forward to the next academic year, which will bring more recipes, delicious food, friendly conversations, happy kids’ faces covered in chocolate and an even stronger community.

Best regards,
PTO Team

| Craftworks Available For Purchase

Did you spot the beautiful handmade artwork at this year’s International Night?

If you walked through the KIS lobby afterwards, you might have noticed these colourful, creative pieces on display — each one made by students as part of a hands-on EcoUkraine project from EcoUkraine.

What makes them really special is that they’re not just decorations. They’re the result of patience, imagination, and a lot of pride in making something with your own hands.

The good news is — they’re now available to purchase at the KIS PTO Shop!

It’s a lovely chance to take a piece of the event home with you, and maybe even get inspired to try crafting together as a family. Who knows — it might spark a new hobby for your child too.
