| Director's Message

Dear Parents and Students,

The last few weeks and days of a school year rush by with a frenzy of activities, fun, deadlines and anticipation - and this year is no different.

As I reflect on my extraordinary year as Director of Kyiv International School I am grateful to so many people. To Chelsey Zoromski who has been my 'wing woman' throughout, to Jake McGrew whose capacity to 'step up' is boundless, to Dima, Tanya, Vika, Alina, Annas G and V, Sergey S - whose wisdom and knowledge have been invaluable,  to teachers so numerous that to single any out for thanks would be difficult - you know who you are, the people who have been endlessly supportive, positive and willing. To the Advisory Board and PTO for your support, creativity and generosity.

Some families will move on to pastures new as will some teachers, and indeed as will I. I wish every single one all the very best as you embark on the next chapters in your lives.

Next school year will see some inevitable changes in staff and to schedules, particularly in the Elementary School.

Have a wonderful, peaceful and enjoyable Summer break,

With very kindest regards,

Ms. Susan Tilney

| Nika Makes New Friends Around The School

Our therapy dog, Nika, has been enjoying more opportunities to meet students around the school this year. Whether visiting classrooms, joining activities, or greeting students in the hallways, she brings comfort, smiles, and positive energy wherever she goes.

Nika has also been actively participating in her training sessions and continuing to develop her therapy dog skills. Thanks to her hard work, she will be spending even more time on campus next school year, giving more students the chance to benefit from her friendly and calming presence.

We look forward to seeing Nika become an even bigger part of our school community in the year ahead.
